We are proud to present our third album, Let The Bad Times Roll. The album features a version of the previewed "Yo Ho Ho!", as well as the studio version of "I Just Want To Go Out Tonight", as featured in The Korea Times (see below).
The (mini) album is about 25 minutes long, and the listening party will run at 8pm Seoul Time (11am UK time). Rob will be online to answer any questions. The album will then be played live (venue and date tbc). So, from the comfort of your armchair, join us as we play the album for the first time, and release it to the world.

The Low-Down On Us
Honey Jam Sam was born in 2017, when Ryan Murfield and Rob Nichols put their songs together for a new kind of folk-country act in Seoul, South Korea. Their first mini-album, Bedrock, was released in 2019, named after the venue that gave the band their break. The record featured staple numbers such as Ryan's 'Down On Me' and Rob's 'Noksapyeong'. Ryan left to pursue other pastures shortly after, though Rob continued to perform and record under the HJS banner. A second mini-album, For The Losers, followed in 2022, featuring musicians from across the globe (including Ryan), though the COVID pandemic limited the performing opportunities. Now, in 2024, the band are back and ready to present their latest outing, 'Let The Bad Times Roll.'

I Just Want To Go Out Tonight
Rob penned 'I Just Want To Go Out Tonight' the week following the Itaewon disaster in 2022. The song was featured in The Korea Times on the anniversary of the tragedy:
